Fun but Mic not the best

AmazonShopper, amazon.co.uk
8 December 2013
  • Summary: My 3 year old enjoys playing this sing-a-long game and I haven't come across any others that are better or appropriate. The graphics are nice and colourful and the animations are ok. It's a bit like BabyTV but interactive. The Mic has a nice long chord but doesn't seem to be the best in detecting voice input. You really have to shout into it and even then you can't really hear your own voice that well? Overall still having fund playing this though.

Grand kids love it

5 May 2013
  • Summary: Easy to follow. Popular songs that the children recognise. They love holding the microphone and singing along even if they don't know the correct words.

My son adores this

Amazon Customer, amazon.co.uk
1 May 2013
  • Summary: This has helped my son and daughter learn the words to nursery rhymes in a way I could not teach them. It has allowed them lots of time and repetition of the many and varied songs and so they can now both sing them together in other situations.

Better if you could slow it down a little

Haribo, amazon.co.uk
13 April 2013
  • Summary: My 3.5yr old loves singing his nursery songs, so saw this game for a fairly reasonable price and thought he would like it, he isn't really able to keep up with it as many of the songs are much faster then we are use to. Also a bit confusing for him as some of the words are changed because its American, example: itsy bitsy spider is not what I got taught to sing when I was little. Some songs are as we know them so he enjoys them.

For pre-school kids only

Bantam Dave, amazon.co.uk
15 March 2012
  • Summary: This is classified for being suitable for kids between the age of 3 and 6. Unfortunately if my daughter is any guide this is way out. My daughter is five years old and she obviously considers the choice of songs included to be far too young for her taste. She grew out of nursery songs a long, long time ago and now considers the works of Lady Ga-Ga, JLS, One Direction to be "her music".

A good idea for hours of toddler entertainment

Amy, amazon.co.uk
16 January 2012
  • Summary: I have previously played the Sing Star games and when I found this I thought it would be perfect for my daughter's third birthday. She absolutely loves it! She enjoys playing on it alone or taking turns with her little friends. She knew most of the songs and has now learnt a few new ones and when she gets fed up with singing she likes to let it just play the songs so she can dance along, although obviously she doesn't get very good scores this way!
