Special needs girl loves it!

Susieever, Amazon
1 January 2014
  • Summary: She wanted to take ballet but has a short attention span. We got this game and she loves it. She can do as much as she wants and there is no one to make helpful suggestions. Which can irritate her. Perfect for our use!

  • Summary: My daughter finds this game to be fun and exciting. She practices everyday now. Easy moves for a beginner, tests her skills and flexibility.

Not on pointe

MamaMii, Amazon
3 September 2010
  • Summary: My daughter was delighted to have a ballerina game until we couldn't get the Wii board to interface with the software (she didn't weigh enough for some reason to activate the board - we don't have this problem with Wii Fit). The exercises and performances are cute but there's no logic between what the characters do and how the player moves. In fact - if the object is to follow the moves, not very easy, even with an adult with some dance training.

A bit challenging to figure out

Wii Board Fan "D. Mae", Amazon
25 April 2010
  • Summary: Bought the Game yesterday, and during the first try...i must admit that the game was a bit confusing. I leafed through the booklet as well to find out if there were instructions and i couldn't quite figure out what it wanted you to do at the beginning. I was using the both the remote, and the balance board (if you don't have the balance board) you can use the nunchuk. I've been using the wii fit plus games, so i was very excited to use the board with the game.

Not what we expected

A. Michael, Amazon
24 February 2010
  • Summary: We read reviews, but either misinterpreted them or just didn't read enough. This was not ballet-like at all. The movement of the one controller and lack of required balance practice was frustrating. It appears like the game is a translated game from another country. It has an awkward menu and game play. We played it twice and sold it.

Huh???

Amazon Customer, Amazon
23 February 2010
  • Summary: This game is awful. My sister was in ballet for years when she was a child and teen and she couldn't even make sense of thise mess. Read the book and tried many times to figure it out to no avail. Thought my little girl would love it, but if grown-ups who have done ballet can't figure it out, there is little hope for her to enjoy it. She plays Star Wars with the boys more than this game! Save your money!

Barely any ballet

mathmommy, Amazon
30 January 2010
  • Summary: We got a Wii for Christmas and my sister threw this in as an extra game because I am a ballet fan and recreational ballet student. She was hesitant to purchase it before Christmas because there were no reviews out, but decided to go for it. Really wish there had been some earlier reviews. After testing out the Wii Fit Board with Wii Fit Sports, I was excited to see what a ballet game would offer. Sadly, not much.
