Pros: Graphics are exactly as I expected for a Wii game All the players are there Some challenges are engaging, "beat Casey Stoner in wet at Phillip Island" Replay options a plenty Skill required to win creates game longevity
Cons: Wii Control options are terrible No real character customisation Bike setup defaults for each race and do not create much difference No Online No upgrades I can see Release far too late for MotoGP 2008 No bike adjustments for challenges
Summary: First, the pictures are not from the Wii version. The game is ugly on the Wii. There is no online game. Only the controls are good. I put three stars because it is the only motorbike racing game on the Wii.
Summary: I bought Moto GP because i used to have an older version of it for the first X box. The graphics on this game are not brilliant, neither are the sound options and the control options are terrible. There is no option to use a control pad, you have to use a wii controller. There are handlebars available to purchase to give you another option. Its frustrating not being able to use a control pad.
Summary: Simulating motorbike racing is a real challenge for game makers, and some of the poor reviews for this game did not fill me with enthusiasm that this would be any better. However, it really is worth buying - the full 'simulation' mode (which enables lurid slides followed quickly by hi-sides if you're not careful), combined with the controller mode that lets you use the Wii controller as a twistgrip and the nunchuk as the steering control, gives a very good mixture of...
Summary: I bought my partner this game as he is crazy about MotoGP and biking in general. He really loves it. It took him a while to get used to the controls, as acceleration and braking are not in intuitive places (compared to riding an actual bike), but once he got used to that he was really happy with it.
Summary: Bouught this game not knowing what to expect but I've found it brilliant addictive fun. I like the idea of practice, qualifying and race modes in all classes, but I found it more fun not using the first two modes and going straight into a race and trying to beat everyone from the back of the grid ! Excellent game which I don't think I will quickly tire of.
Summary: Brought as a Birthday present for my OLDER Husband a biker fanatic since the sixtys. He thinks it is great and very realistic, once he got the hang of balance and not moving the controller so agressively.
