The short length of play time as Dante makes it seems like this should have just been an offshoot of the Devil May Cry franchise. The repetition of both levels and bosses knocks it down a peg. However Devil May Cry 4 is a very good game. Fans of the series will love it and play it through the five levels of difficulty attempting to get the highest score possible for a long time to come. Overall, Mortal Kombat Armageddon is a little better than your average port. The Wii controls work pretty well and the game has always been a solid gaming experience. With the inclusion of the Wii-only Khameleon and the tons of replayability the game offers, fans of the series have a lot to be thankful for, but only if they haven't already played the PS2 or Xbox versions to death. Mortal Kombat has long been a controversial game. Ever since its release back in 1992, the game has drawn the ire of parents and politicians alike. Perhaps fearing a backlash, Nintendo forced the SNES version to not include blood due to the family friendly image they wanted to portray. I guess you can say it was one of the more fatal mistakes Nintendo made at the time to alienate mature gamers. Read more

Mortal Kombat Armageddon remains a standard fighter with a twist. The control is the real star here, and the huge roster of fighters is a treat for the fans of the series. While the game is effective and plays great, you can’t help but feel like you have been there before. The extra modes are good for a time, but the novelty quickly wears off. If you liked the previous games in the series, then I can’t see a reason why you wouldn’t want this one. Read more

The Mortal Kombat series is traditional pretty cut and dry....the difference with the Wii version is you kind HAVE to use the nunchuk (which, with first use, is VERY awkward)....but once you get into the groove of it, it's VERY exciting!! • Fun game, with several game modes. Many of the typical button combos for special moves in non-Wii MK games, are now replaced with Wii remote/Nunchuck motions, as well ...

MKA is a welcome addition to the Mortal Kombat Franchise. Having over 60 characters to choose from. There is a character for everyone's liking in the game, so you can play as your favourite character and beat the hell out of everything in the game. If you get bored of fighting, you can have a go on the Motor Kombat. Choose from 10 characters and race along 5 different tracks. Using the Wii remote on MKA does take some getting use too.
