Summary: This is a great, creative, fun game that requires activity coordination and analysis (my favorite) ;) The combinations of monster parts seem endless for your own unique creation. Each part is given values in three different areas. The more advanced kids can analyse these areas and create a super monster or the younger kids can just build and enjoy the lesser battles.
Summary: I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter. She will play games with her brother, but usually finds herself pretty outclassed against him skill wise. This game was just her speed. The fights are turn based. The graphics are good. The monster building was at first frustrating, but once she learned that she needed to keep holding the button down, the rest of the game just opened up to her.
Got it for the boys- bought it again, after they scratched up the disc!

Summary: We've actually purchased this game twice, as my younger boy damaged the first one. Both kids love it- we're not letting them get into really complicated games yet, and I don't have a whole lot of gaming experience- but from what I've observed, the boys both love the game. My oldest says to let everyone out there know that it's perfect for 8-year-old boys, and my guess is that the same would hold true for girls, as well.
