Some clear necessities missing

Thomas Williams, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this game because a friend of mine played one on the PS2 and we thought it was really cool. Although it is a very beautiful game I noticed a few things lacking. (Please note this is all my opinion, don't hate) 1) The Wiimote is not the best at translating anything besides slashing making it very hard to do any sort of special moves making things rather stale.

  • Summary: The game is good. I have played the Monster Hunter since 2, 2G and 3. But this game in Wii, the graphic is not that perfect in play station. Beside, if you want to master this game. You need purchase the classic controller.

Best Wii game.

Kurt, Amazon
27 October 2013
  • Summary: Its a little slow at start but very rewarding and a blast to play. The only problem is that they shut down the Wii servers so you buy the new game on the Wii U. So that takes away from the experience as you need online to fight some of the monsters.

Online No-Longer Supported

Forrest Yoder, Amazon
18 September 2013
  • Summary: This game is really one of my favorite RPG style games that I've played. The only problem is that I can only play the single player and the single player only lets you go to different areas when you are on a timed mission. So you have know which missions go where to get what you are after. Capcom shut down the regular Wii servers for this game... Otherwise I'd have given the game a 5 star.

Amazing game.

pobby, Amazon
9 October 2012
  • Summary: I played this game a couple years ago and had realized how fun it was. Alas, me and the game were separated, and it wasn't until this week when I was able to play it yet again. The novelty of the game hasn't worn off, as it is as great as I had anticipated it to be from past experience. I was sure that my memories would be so faulty as to exaggerate the amazingness of this game, but I was wrong and it is still quite fun.

Monster Hunter 3 = 600+ Hours of Fun!

Metragoon, Amazon
6 April 2012
  • Summary: First I'll take the time to explain Mon Han to the newcomers since you may be wondering what it is exactly. Monster Hunter is an RPG where you don't level up, but instead level up your gear to down your enemies. The gameplay is solid and the newest and coolest feature is the underwater combat which is very smooth. Essentially this game plays very similar to Phantasy Star and The Legend of Zelda, but follows it's own concept and style also.

  • Summary: This game is one of the beautiful and most complete games of the Wii catalogue. The online experience is very smooth and the graphics are superb. The experience is more deep when you have a Home Theater system. If you have friends to play online and you like this kind of game where you need to hunt monsters with strategy, this is your game. Is very cheap.
