Defect in disk!
Two Girls of Mine, Amazon
Summary: The game itself is very fun. My 7 year old learned how to play it quickly and loves it. However, perhaps we got a defective disk, because we cannot finish a multi-player game. Anytime we play on multi mode, at the end of the race, the entire Wii locks up and the game freezes. We lose credit for playing (so we cannot unlock the players) and have to reset the Wii every time. It only ever happens with this disk and always in the same place, so it is not my machine.
Summary: We love the Monster High brand at our house and my daughter, nine, devours everything Monster High she can get her hands on. While this game is fun, there's nothing more to it, that I can see, other than skating around. Skate in the city, skate at the beach, skate at night, skate in the daytime; skating in one direction, trying to skate faster than other characters, avoid an occasional obstacle, skate into a few point-getting objects. No variety at all.
Summary: My daughter wanted a Monster High game for the Wii. I found this at a decent price so I purchased it. Now I wish I hadn't. She played it for half an hour and wants me to return it to get something else. The only thing you can do is roller skate. Sure, that's the premise of the game but you literally can't do anything else. Not many tracks ... You can't choose the tracks you skate on ... You can't choose anything other than who you use to skate with.
