Summary: I think that this is a fun game but its lacking length, and a storyline. If you are looking for a game that is simply racing and maybe a few explosives here and there this game might be perfect for you. Monster 4x4 is very fun, younger kids would really enjoy it, but the game really just isn't long enough.
Summary: I was looking for something fun fro my son to play because he loves race cars and monster trucks. It had all that but it DID NOT come with a wheel as adertised. Just glad I didn't pay full price othrewise I would be very upset.
Summary: As the title suggests, I found this game to be very sensitive. After calibrating the Wii remote, it still seemed to have the cars jump at the slightest movement. Also, not a game for those under 10-years-old due to the challenge. Nice graphics though.
Summary: I bought it admittadely for a wheel to play with Mario Kart, but the game seems alright for 20 bucks. However, I'm having problem using the Wiimote with the wheel. On the official Nintendo wheel, there's a cutout for the sensor, but this wheel doesn't have a cut out and the sensor goes 'off' as soon as the wiimote gets inserted.
Conclusion: this game is a good 1 but the game gets a bit borin after a while but the 3 mini games wot r 2 player only r realy good especially the football 1 but if u cant reli get used to the sterin just sit down and play it for 30 mins an ull be fine still a descent buy if u like the chaos of monster trucks on a track! still a descent buy if u like drivin games!
Conclusion: It is quite a fun game and sliding around the track was a hoot to begin with. You get a steering wheel that you slide your remote into (which i have also used on other racing games) and you do make some funny faces using it :o) If you jolt the steering wheel the truck goes into Nitro mode and you shoot up the track.
Excerpt: "I would like to start off by saying that this is by no means a horrible game, neither is it a good game, its an average game. The graphics in this game are poor and the choice of cars is also bad even after you've unlocked them all. Career mode is quite addictive however and the actual game play and controls aren't bad at all, the tracks can get very tiring after you've played the game for more than about 1 hour though. The thrills and spills action ...
Excerpt: "Feels more like a beefed up SNES game graphically. The control system of tilting the Wii remote is fun but wears thin as you must keep a thumb on the button to accelerate. Probably worth buying for the free wheel accessory as it is far more substantial than the ones sold separately. My main gripe is a problem the Wii has recognising the controller when it is inserted into the wheel. On occasion depending on factors unknown an error message pops up ...
Pros: Little bit like MarioKart meets Tony Hawk's
Cons: Made me want to play Flatout on the 360 instead
