  • Conclusion: Captain America: Super Soldier on the Wii isn't as bad as some people claim. While the combat is somewhat repetitive, the upgrades actually help you and the ability to counter attack is useful when surrounded. The graphics aren't anything special, but the gameplay somewhat makes up for it. This is probably one to rent first, but for $40, it's not that bad.

  • Excerpt: You’ve got to feel bad for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. No one remembers him. You’d think that everyone would love and cherish the first character ever created by Walt Disney, but he hasn’t gotten any recognition in nearly seven decades. He’s spent that time ruling over the Wasteland, a mystical realm in which all forgotten Disney cartoons reside.

  • Conclusion: Epic Mickey could have been a much better game than it ended up. If you're a Disney fan, I'd highly recommend picking it up: if not, you can pass this one up without too much fret.

  • Conclusion: In short, the game is a complete turd that wastes the idea of its central mechanic and couples this with platforming gameplay that would have been woefully underwhelming a decade ago. Nothing else is anything to write home about, from the characters to the story to the sound design. Actually, you should write home about the sound.
  • Pros: Interesting concept, lots of Disney crap if you're into that sort of thing, it won't offend your wife or children.
  • Cons: Premise is wasted, gameplay is extremely dated, sound is torture, camera is torture, and it will offend your gifted nephew and your girlfriend.

  • Excerpt: Hello, my name is Joe Sinicki and I'm a Disney-a-holic. It's okay, I can admit it. Now please understand, though - I'm not talking the “everyone break into dance in a cafeteria”, or “oh no they know my secret pop star identity” tween version of Disney, I'm talking about the classic years. The Alice Comedies, the Silly symphonies, the golden age of animation and wonder.
