Epic Mickey

Gamer Limit
11 December 2010
  • Conclusion: Epic Mickey could have been a much better game than it ended up. If you're a Disney fan, I'd highly recommend picking it up: if not, you can pass this one up without too much fret.

Disney Epic Mickey

ActionTrip
6 December 2010
  • Conclusion: In short, the game is a complete turd that wastes the idea of its central mechanic and couples this with platforming gameplay that would have been woefully underwhelming a decade ago. Nothing else is anything to write home about, from the characters to the story to the sound design.
  • Pros: Interesting concept, lots of Disney crap if you're into that sort of thing, it won't offend your wife or children.
  • Cons: Premise is wasted, gameplay is extremely dated, sound is torture, camera is torture, and it will offend your gifted nephew and your girlfriend.

  • Excerpt: Hello, my name is Joe Sinicki and I'm a Disney-a-holic. It's okay, I can admit it. Now please understand, though - I'm not talking the “everyone break into dance in a cafeteria”, or “oh no they know my secret pop star identity” tween version of Disney, I'm talking about the classic years.
