Disney Epic Mickey is an action-adventure game designed for the Wii console and features the beloved Mickey Mouse on his adventure of creativity and discovery. Players assume the role of Mickey and ventures into Wasteland, an alternate world filled with Disney’s forgotten creative efforts. Players are given the power to wield paint and paint thinner to change the world and bring Mickey on his road to becoming an epic hero.

In Disney Epic Mickey, players have the ability to shape te story line as it unfolds in teir discovery on the concept of "playstyle matters". This is a gameplay designed by Disney Interactive Studios’ Junction Point, and allows players to tackle different challenges by exploring possibilities and storylines. The storyline unfolds according to the decisions made and the consequences discovered through a player’s actions.
