Summary: 3 EXCELLENT games in 1 is a great deal....but not at this ridiculous price; and I just can't give this the 5 stars it deserves for the price advertised. If you have a WiiU - you can buy it from the Eshop for a fraction of this price (I paid $9.99 on it's release day on the Eshop). I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a physical copy. Not super-easy to find physical copies, but it can be done with a little work.
Summary: Great games HORRIBLE price.. If you are a collector you might want this set. I was able to get the set when it first came out! I love how Nintendo updated the controls of the older Metroid games and included the first two in this box set.. On Jan 29th Nintendo is slated to release this on the eshop channel for $20 and $10 the first week it is out! Make sure you pick it up then in digital format and save your hard copy like this as a collectors item..
... of the games from the trilogy you have a good idea what you're getting into

Summary: If you've played one of the games from the trilogy you have a good idea what you're getting into. The three games are slow paced and have a good bit of backtracking. I wouldn't feel bad playing the games on easy mode. The tin case is beautiful; an absolute prize. The convience of all three games on one disc is nice.
Summary: In 2005, I started playing the first Metroid Prime installment and beat it in over 2 months. I'm now working on the second and third installments. There are some obvious differences between the controls, though -- on the first 2 titles, you had to use the clunky Nintendo GameCube controller to move, scan, aim, and kill large, vast amounts of enemies/bosses.
Summary: Easily THE best game(s) on the Wii. I bought a Wii specifically so I could play the Prime series. It's still the only game I have for the Wii and I am constantly coming back to it. It's hard to go back to the dual analog stick controls of my PS3 and PS4 when I really enjoy pretending like I am actually shooting ugly space pirates in the face.
