Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Wii Review

Console Obsession
29 May 2010
  • Excerpt: Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman. When Samus Aran was unveiled as female, it was a revelation from the testosterone-heavy action men that were infesting video-games in the 1980’s. Samus struck a blow for women’s rights in the living rooms and bedrooms of teenage gamers across the world.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

The Gamers Temple
15 March 2008
  • Excerpt: Many gamers' minds were set at ease when Metroid Prime delivered a first person action experience worthy of the name Metroid. Later Metroid Prime 2: Echoes carried the first person action experience even further. The series now ends with the last installment, entitled Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Like all great game trilogies, this one goes out with a bang.

Wii's World

  • Conclusion: When it comes down to it, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is obviously a must-own. With a stupendous FPS system, great graphics and score, plus a good amount of extras to keep you going, this is definitely the best Wii game next to Twilight Princess . Get your arm cannon ready, you're going to need it.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Game Boyz
27 December 2007
  • Excerpt: Nintendo finally brings Metroid Prime to an end with the release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The series, which was started on the GameCube, brought the Metroid world into the realm of 3D around five years ago. Many pundits were worried that the transition from a 2D shooter to a 3D first person shooter would ruin a great series, but the first two games were a success and developer Retro Studios managed to keep the Metroid name in a positive light.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Strategy Informer
17 December 2007
  • Conclusion: If Super Mario Galaxy were not set for release this year, I would immediately state that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the game of the year for the Wii. With amazing artwork, super-intelligent controls and a no BS story, anyone not getting this game is missing out on the best of the Prime series.

Expert Review

GamingNexus

  • Summary: Upon finishing the last chapter in the Metroid Prime trilogy, it occurred to me that I had experienced a relatively rare achievement in today’s game industry. It wasn’t the fact that Prime 3 is a great adventure game, the masterful use of control, or the brilliant graphics. You’ll find those things in other games too. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is special because it’s a satisfying final installment in a trilogy.
