Video game publisher Nintendo now has a new Wii game called Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This video game serves as the 10th installment in the Metroid video game series. This is also considered to be the third and last installment for the Metroid Prime video game series.

This game Metroid Prime 3: Corruption features the control system which is founded on the Nunchuk and Wii Remote systems geared for Wii format play. Full voice acting is available on this Wii-format game, which makes it different from the other Metroid video games that only utilized partial voice acting talents. This game aims to use in a galaxy setting the skills and mental stamina to help stop a weapon used as biologic warfare. As a first-person action/adventure type of video game, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption tries to utilize 3D effects not found in the other games in the series. However, this game can be played only in single-player game play mode.

Review Summary

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is the story of Dark Samus launching the Leviathan, a satellite or bomb that scatters seeds to spread the poisonous element Phazon throughout the galaxy. The Galactic Federation fights this threat by calling in four bounty hunters to clean the scattered seeds, Rundas, Ghor, Gandrayda and Samus Aran. Moreover before anything can be achieved and cleaned, a nearby planet is attacked and the new mission is to save it. While rescue is being done, Dark Samus attacks each of the hunters with a Phazon blast. When they recover, they find out that they are now capable of handling Phazon. This enables Samus to enter Hypermode, and do lots of damage. The interesting part is to command Samus' ship. The Command Visor allows Samus to send the ship commands; where to land, what to launch a missile at, or what to carry. Corruption makes your shooting skills get better and better. To be able to aim good shots you need steady nerves and quick reflexes. Corruption's major accomplishment is the graphics or the artwork. Corruption stands out with its colorful and elaborate designs. Corruption contains some of the best visuals in gaming; giving attention to detail, and its wonderfully consistent and imaginative art direction.
