Summary: I have played all Metroid games at this point. Other M is a throwback to the original type of Metroid game that came before the Prime series. You control Samus from a third person perspective in a 3D type world.
Summary: Ordered this game because it was the only Metroid game I havn't played. The disc was in good shape but the game manuel was beat up. Not your traditional metroid but if you are a fan of the series then this is worth at least one play through.
Summary: I got this for my husband for Christmas as he used to play this on the original Nintendo. He seems to like it okay but he has complained about the picture being too dark. It is not our TV, it is the game. He strained so much trying to see the dark picture that it gave him a bad headache.
Summary: Way too much to say. This game is just not a real Metroid game. Team Ninja should never get any work again. This game should be ignored from the story of Metroid and Samus. We should all pretend that this game never happened. If it was any other kind of game, it would be cool.
A step in the right direction but a step back as well

Summary: To start of Team Ninja built an awesome and fresh new Metroid system. This game is packed with action, remarkable graphics, beautiful music that fits perfectly with there environments and scenes. These improves are truly a huge step in the right direction.
Summary: If you're expecting the kind of free roaming gameplay you might get out of Metroid 1 or 2, look elsewhere. Metroid: Other M is not one of those kinds of games. It's as linear as linear can be. When I got this game and started playing it, I was pretty disillusioned, to say the least.
Summary: -SPOILERS TOWARDS THE BOTTOM- I really wanted to like this game. The game play was pretty fun, the boss fights were very diverse, and the graphics are surprisingly good for a Wii game, but they were not enough to pull the knife out that murdered this game.
