Mercury Meltdown Revolution

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: Some video games miss my radar, but the second I do find out about them I am on top of them like hats on baseball players. Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Nintendo Wii is one of those video games, and boy am I glad that I heard about this one. The player has a glob of mercury that needs to be rolled around to the end goal. But Super Monkey Ball, and Kororinpa Marble Mania fans need to know there is more to it than that.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution Wii Review

Console Obsession
29 May 2010
  • Excerpt: Once upon a time a famous game designer known as Archer Mclean and his team at Awesome Studios (a studio that obviously liked to blow its own trumpet as they thought they were awesome and everything!) dreamed up the game concept of tilting a blob of mercury around lab-themed environments. To do the job Sony’s PSP was to have some sort of additional tilt mechanism that would have obviously done the game a great service; alas it just wasn’t to be.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution

WiiDS.co.uk
9 November 2007
  • Excerpt: Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a highly-addictive puzzle game where the player must guide a colour-shifting blob of mercury through endless mazes of hazards and obstacles to reach the goal. Each maze is based around a ‘lab’, which has it’s own cartoon looks and feel, and contains it’s own hazards and puzzles to solve, including having to split up your mercury into several blobs and control them all at the same time in order to complete a maze.
  • Cons: Very smooth and easy to use control system, Great colourful graphics and sounds, Very easy to play, Some of the levels are especially difficult!, Party games must be unlocked before being playable, No online support (download new mazes etc).

Mercury Meltdown Revolution

Tom's Games
