Not very fun

karen wilson, Amazon
16 November 2013
  • Summary: Lame game for pre-teens/teens. It wasn't even fun as a family game. Hard to figure out what you are suppose to be doing to succeed.

meh

Peter Forrence, Amazon
10 September 2013
  • Summary: A collection of casual games. Many of the games are like other available mini games. The price is still a bit high for what you get. THERE IS A LOT OF LOAD TIME. Some of the games are original enough, and all of them might make for an enjoyable 3 or 4 player evening. The axe throwing game I think is pretty well done, and I haven't seen it's like else where.

Terrible Controls, Super Powered AI

A. Bauer, Amazon
31 December 2009
  • Summary: I bought this game thinking it would be more like Go Play Lumberjacks but was SEVERELY mistaken! The game is a standard mini-game collection however if you buy this game prepare for a lot of waiting and frustration. Like other reviews have said this is a 4 player game. period. If you don't have 4 people the computer is kind enough to play the remaining characters for you. The problem is that these characters are VERY VERY good at the games. You will loose to them...bad!

Limited fun

Claire, Amazon
27 December 2009
  • Summary: This game is best if always played with a group of people. It is not a good game for anyone who might want to play it by themselves. There will always be four players even if the computer has to play three of them. You can't skip the computer's turn(s) so this makes the game play time slow and boring. I also haven't found a way to skip the instructions for an individual game, and they are shown at the beginning of *every* turn.

Okay, but not good

C. Fraley, Amazon
10 December 2009
  • Summary: I played this game at a relative's house for part of an afternoon. I will not be buying this one myself. The GOOD: (A) The graphics and theme are well handled; (B) Many of the games are fun. The BAD: (A) Getting to the part where you actually play a game is frustrating. Too much stuff to get through before you can actually have fun. Especially the built-in board game. You spend 75% of your time getting to the 25% which is the fun actually game-playing stuff.

Funny antics cannot save sloppy controls

S. Sylvia, Amazon
27 October 2009
  • Summary: I could not wait for a review for this game & paid the price. Do yourself a favor & rent this one first! Most of the mini games are funny & entertaining to watch, but the play control on most of them is lacking. When you try to move your jousting lance, there is severe delay between moving the Wiimote & what happens on screen. When you battle another character, you swing your sword 3 or 4 times, but the on screen character only swings once. Very fustrating.

Medieval Rubbish

A. J. Dicken, amazon.co.uk
19 February 2011
  • Summary: I had high hopes for this game for a bit of family fun. How wrong was I! it's seems to take ages to load up, and when it does you get a running commentary of nights and noblemen. only to be faced with rubbish graphics and game play that only lasts a few minutes. To then go through the whole process again. My two little ones (aged 10 and 5). Only lasted 15 minutes before they were bored and have only played it once. In word RUBBISH!

Could have been fun... but...

B. Armstrong "Berni", amazon.co.uk
22 June 2010
  • Summary: My daughter and I share many of the criticisms already mentioned. The biggest pain is that you cannot select a two player option and just play against each other, rather than the PC. That sucks big time! We also found that in some of the games the operation did not seem to work according to the instructions. For example in the archery shoots the "sights" symbol appeared for our PC opponents, but not for us human players. My daughter feels cheated and so do I.

Medieval Games

Margaret, amazon.co.uk
28 May 2010
  • Summary: I was a bit disappointed with this. I didn't like the artwork and I thought that some of the "games" were not medieval at all. It was more like "It's a Knockout" in medieval costumes. However, there was only me playing it - perhaps it's more fun if you are playing against someone else.
