Summary: Medal of Honor: Vangaurd was one of the first and best shooter games I ever played. It was evident after your first battle thatb this wasn't any old shooter. Unlike games such as Call of Duty, where your the tough guy dual weilding C774's who slowly walks down a hallway implanting a bullet in each persons head (in slow-mo of course) while wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigar, Vangaurd let you see the true nature of battle.
Summary: First of all, this game has the worst storyline ever. Most of the game you spend as a spy killing hundreds of germans by yourself. you hardly get backup ever, and when you do, they die almost instantly. There are lots of gliches, online and off. About 2 bullets kill germans in the companion, but in the online, you need about three clips of mp40 to kill one person. headshots kill, but the awkward movement of the gun makes it almost impossible.
Summary: I've been playing this game the last few weeks, and really the only thing it has going for it is that it's on the Wii. If it weren't for the motion sensor i'd give this game a 1. The graphics are Gamecube graphics at best. The controlles are fine. But the gameplay even online is horrible. the graphics allow you to walk through other people, making it impossible to beat them down, or to shoot them with a shotgun.
Summary: Just what you would expect for a War based FPS, nothing amazing, but a competent game, worth playing, though not re-playing. Pick it up if you can get a discounted copy, otherwise there are better games to play than this.
Summary: The Wii has had shortage of good, solid first-person shooters since the very beginning, and MOH2 does little to change things. But first things first ... is it worth a punt? Yes if you can find it, as I did, for £15 or so. Anything higher and you'll feel short changed. The problem with MOF2 is certainly not in the controls. In fact I'd go as far as saying these are single handedly the best FPS controls on any home console, besting even the sublime action of Metroid.
Summary: I bought this game after reading positive reviews for it on Amazon. Despite some novel weaponary and interesting backgounds, you'll quickly find the gameplay limiting. The most obviously flawed area, is that when you're injured you just need to hide for a few seconds and your health magically restores itself. This coupled with the fact that the game is far too short, means that it is very easy to complete.
