Horrible and disappointing

Summary: I had a downloaded version of this once before on the PC with a guy doing the instruction instead of Mary King, then had it on the Wii later on - so this game is a rehash, but both PC/Wii versions are as terrible as each other. Apart from the ridiculous training for the dressage (difficult and commands bear no relation to what the horse is doing), the controls are inconsistent in general - when jumping, the 'balancing the rider over the jumps' didn't always work when I...
Summary: I got this game today and it has been absolutely brilliant! It is quite difficult and i am yet to reach the most difficult stages, but you are taken through it the whole way with lots of useful guidance, (although the talking gets a bit annoying). It will keep you busy for hours and is very realitic with great graphics, my only trouble is that there is no horse caring, but you do not miss it once started. I would reccomend this game to everyone, cannnot praise it enough!
Summary: This is such a good game!!! After finishing the training, I aced the show jumping and XC, (that's pony speak for cross country) and failed miserably at the dressage! I am horse mad and have riding lessons, and I am just about to learn to jump! This game taught me a lot about a horses/pony's strides! Really educational for people who are pony mad!
Summary: I really should have paid attention to the other reviews before buying this product. The training levels for SJ and XC are absolutely fine, the dressage training is a nightmare and being told the same thing over and over by Mary for one slip up and having to go back to the beginning of the exercise is incredibly frustrating. I spent a lot of time with it on mute!
Summary: Feel absolutely ripped off with this game. was really looking forward to it however, I am so fed up with the ridiculous training level that i cannot progress to the actual game. What is the point? Everyone in the family has tried. The dressage training is so difficult and the controls are impossible. total waste of money. It's a shame really because the graphics are very good. Don't buy it.
Summary: This game could be described in one word: terrible. I had the PC game "Mary King's Riding Star" when I was younger, which is what made me want to buy this one. I ended up returning it as it was truly shocking. My fiance bought me a Wii last Christmas but I'm not really a fan of gaming, I got this because I thought it would be fun (although I would much rather ride my own horse... Don't get me started.
Summary: After looking forward to getting this (and it being delayed being released for a year) I must say I was very disappointed. The controls are not what I would have chosen to get a semblance or feel of riding, which is kinda the point of Wii. In the show jumping you push buttons more than move. The show jumping is more like driving. The dressage I think is the worst aspect.
