Summary: This is a really good game, my son loves it. There are loads of different levels and characters so he will be able to play it for a long time. It arrived packaged well and was in pristine condition but the delivery did take a while, over 2 weeks which is too long for a Royal Mail delivery so it mist be at the distribution warehouse that the delays are caused. Nevertheless, it was a really good price compared to other sites so the delay was worth it.
Summary: Before I bought this game I was not sure what to expect from it.I did not know if the graphics would be good considering this game is a few years old.I then found out that the graphics are pretty great. The controls take a bit of getting use to but after a while you start to get the hang of things. After you master all the moves the game gets a bit easier,it's fun running around fighting all of the bad guys henchmen but when you get to the boss's you really have to up your...
Summary: Okay, after countless hours of comparison and a lot of fun, I have some comments on the two Marvel Ultimate Alliance games for Wii. First of all, if you love Marvel comics the way I do, I would recommend getting both Alliance I and II. You can find some used ones, like I did, that aren't expensive, and they are different enough so you won't feel like you're playing the same game. Here's my overall summary and comparison.
Awful on the Wii. Quite a lot of fun if you hide it in your friend's home.

Summary: I would have thought that a game with a list of characters as varied and fun as Marvel Ultimate Alliance could not fail to be great fun. I was very wrong. This is an appalling game. The controls are weak, the graphics poor even for the wii, and the gameplay boring and repetetive. On the plus side, a friend and I discovered we both disliked it so much that neither of us actually wanted to keep it, so we have had more fun hiding it in each other's homes (in a freezer,...
Conclusion: this game was unexpected in a bad way to be honest. i am a full on comic geek and i love marvel games films etc however this game just is pretty bad. in random parts you will be wondering around with nothing to do/nothing to fight.
Summary: Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a good game, i liked how you can construct you 4 man super hero team featuring Captain America,DeadPool,Blade,Iron Man and wolverine and many others, there is around 25 differnt characters you can play as,each with thier unqiue moves and sayings. It definatly has re-playability, especially how you can unlock new superhero's throughout the main game by searching levels or helping other superhero's.
Excerpt: "...(and several of the least) Marvel heroes for some hot teamwork beat-em-up action. The Wii version in particular boasts an interesting control scheme (one that may irritate as much as please) at the expense of attractive graphics and an irritating glitch among your CPU teammates. In the end, the game's only worth your money if you've got the friends for it - and even then, perhaps not. The control scheme should be familiar for those who've played ...
Pros: Each character is his own, large amount of replay value
Cons: Controls need more work, graphics are not up to par .
