Summary: This was bought for my brother. I watched him play, I even tried it a few times, and I can not stand it. The "story" mode was flawed and not very interesting. The challenge on some of the levels is extreme, my brother could not get past Hulk's level, I could not, and even my dad (who beats Xbox 360 RPGs within a week) could not beat it. It is was challenging because of poor controls, bad camera, and terrible level design.
Summary: My son loves the Super Hero Squad, but we hate this game. As an adult, I have to pause the game on every single level and search the internet for clues on how to beat a level on the easy mode. This is absolutely ridiculous. Young kids love the super heros but they should have an easier level that a child can beat without crying and having to have their paent help and search online for clues and tips. So disappointing.
Summary: Very boring and repetitive game. Graphics are lousy too. It reminds me of an old Nintendo 64 game and not a very good one at that. Get Super Smash Bros. and you will never need another fighting game again.
Summary: I got this game because my kids love the SHS show. This game however stinks. I honestly don't think they were finished with it when they released it. The boards are so difficult to determine what exactly you are supposed to do. There is no guidance at all. On one level you destroy everything and then have to do it again and again before the boss shows up. I think it is a glitch or something. The controls are horrible!
Summary: I play this with my Marvel obsessed three year old son and even he doesn't like this game. This game is really badly made, the camera makes you feel seasick. In two player mode the second player can't even see his character most of the time. When one character dies, both characters regenerate at a spawn point which is extremely annoying. I feel cheated at having paid money for this game and am surprised Marvel ever put their name to it.
Conclusion: I was really looking forward to this game, but after just 5 minutes of play, I was bored. Limited controls and gameplay make this a big dissapointment to me. Stick with Marvel ultimate alliance. I read the actual game review posted on here, and it's as if it is describing a different game - "Adventure Mode.
