  • Conclusion: Easy difficulty on the single player campaign should be avoided. An enjoyable, challenging and rewarding game on hardest difficulty for single player. Also good for multiplayer fun.

Video Game talk
11 November 2010
  • Excerpt: on the Nintendo 64 is fondly remembered as the harbinger of the reign of first-person shooters on home consoles, partially because it gave a new audience a crack at behind-the-trigger fun, but also because it delivered outstanding (albeit local) multiplayer FPS fun. Though it's been over a decade since the title arrived on the scene, it's still considered one of the best FPS games ever, and retains a loyal fanbase that has been dying for a chance to play the game on a...

GoldenEye 007

Digital Chumps
11 November 2010
  • Conclusion: I had my doubts until the very end, but no longer. Activision and Eurocom have pulled off the impossible: they’ve revived a classic by remaining constantly cognizant of the line separating tradition from obsolescence. Where change has been applied, it was typically warranted—and while the resulting creation most certainly has its cracks, its foundation is more than solid enough to stand in spite of them.

GoldenEye 007

Game Boyz
9 June 2010
  • Excerpt: GoldenEye 007 is a name that is synonymous with gaming on the N64. Developed by Rare, this game was the first console FPS that really did bring attention to the genre. In the days when people were playing rudimentary FPS titles on their PC, console gamers never really played this style of game on their TVs. GoldenEye 007 was, and still is, considered a classic game, and along with the original Halo on the Xbox, it introduced gamers to a new breed of games.

GoldenEye 007 Review

Cheat Code Central
19 March 2010
  • Conclusion: Although re-makes and re-releases are common in the current console generation, it is rare that you see a remake that has been as overhauled as Goldeneye. Though the basic premise of the game is the same, the new take on the story, modernized gameplay elements, and robust multiplayer options definitely make this game worth picking up if you were a fan of the original or just want an amazing shooter on the Wii.

GoldenEye 007

The Gamers Temple
5 March 2010
  • Excerpt: Every gamer out there knows about the N64 classic Goldeneye. A vast majority of us saw the days turn into weeks, weeks into months, months into years while clutching the N64's controller, crowed around the TV with friends and blasting away at one another. I didn't personally put the game away until I'd unlocked every single secret, and beating the toughest time trial, found in the Moonraker level, took weeks of careful trial and error.
