Summary: I'm not really able to enjoy the game as my character continually freezes or seems to get stuck. I then have to flail the controls to get him unstuck. This happened several times in the 1 hour I played the game. I can't say I enjoy the controls, having to move the Wii remote and/or nun-chuck in any number of directions to kill people. It would be nice to have simple button controls for a game like this for more accurate movement.
Summary: Good concept but execution. If you enjoyed the first manhunt, you should probably skip this installment. On the wii at least, the controls are stiff and sporadic, gunplay is awkward and unstable. The camera is stiff and doesnt offer any freedom. the pause button is also the 2 button, not a big deal, but not convenient either. Rent it if you must play it, dont bother buying; i doubt you will care to play through it a second time.
Summary: I have not played the original game but I am aware of the plot of the first one. This game started off ok, but then turned into a nightmare. You do feel as if you are in a Psych ward while you are playing but you have no idea how to move around in the game. Honestly, I play a lot of video games and I could not get passed the first round. I got stuck somewhere in the game and I could not get myself out. I could not find a map or any sense of where to go next.
Summary: This game features some intense violence and gore, but does not focus entirely on that. It is a stealthy action game that involves hiding from a group of enemies and slowly trying to find your way around them (usually means killing them). The story and acting is the best Ive seen in a game, so if you really enjoy a good story, Manhunt 2 in definitely worth it.

Summary: ...because if I would have fully understood the impact that Rockstar's edited kill sequences had on the overall experience, I probably would have passed on purchasing it. 1up had a very interesting point here (p.s. they're not fond of the game at all). If you take into account the motion queues that you have to pay attention to (which already distract the player from the on-screen action) and add to that the various blurring effects that were added to achieve an 'M'...
Summary: If you played the first game the first thing you'll notice about this one is the executions. Compared to the first there PG rated. You cant even see whats going on in them. I had to turn the brighntess up all the way and squint like i was blind to get a remote idea of what was happening. A huge dissapointment from the first. Overall gameplay is very similar the integration of the WII remote is actually very good.
Conclusion: The only thing which drew my attention to this game was the fact that it was banned. Excessive violence does not make for a good game. The initial novelty of butchering bad guys quickly wears off and soon becomes all too repetitive and ultimatley dull. However. the current play.com price tag makes up for the overall poor gaming experience.
Excerpt: Hey Gerard...
