Reviews and Problems with Major League Baseball 2K11
Showing 1-5 of 5
the game isn't even close to the mlb the show series
24 January 2012
Summary: poor imitation of the mlb the show franchise. the baseball players dont even resemble the real players like they are supposed to do. i would not even have bid on this if i had realized how crappy the graphics are.
Summary: the graphics on this game are really, really, really bad!!! I do agree with a lot of the other reviews and wished that the put more effort in the game...Even with no arms on Wii Sports baseball has better graphics than this..ok a little dramatic, but not happy that I paid $50.00 for this game. And the remote, nunchuck movements can be touchy and difficult to handle.
Summary: Guys get injured way too much!!! Two rounds through my rotation all of my starting pitchers are injured for 85 days plus, four of my starting infield players are injured as well, this is only on 50% injury occurance. Outfielders arms are not as good as last years version and stolen bases are easy to get. Overall out of 10(being best) I give it a 4 and reccomend trying "The Show".
Summary: I was excited to play this game but it fell far short of any expectations I had. The photos on the back of the box must be from the PS3 or Xbox versions because this game has terrible graphics. The first field I played on the "people" in the bleachers weren't in lines, they were in x's as they rows crossed each other in the upper decks. Everything looks dingy and dirty. The gameplay is pretty much the same as previous versions of 2K baseball.
Summary: After playing the baseball game that comes with the Wii console (in the "Sports" disc, with bowling, tennis, etc.), I wanted that kind of fun in a baseball game that would also keep stats and add a few more wrinkles. 2K11 turns out to be a pain in the ass instead of a festival of fun. As far as I can figure thus far: Annoyances... 1. You MUST use the nunchuck every pitch to select the pitch. Annoying. SLOWS the game down and is just a pain. 2. A game must be 9 innings.
