Worst sports game in my 30 years
3 August 2014
Summary: I'm 44 years old. I've been both a fan of MLB and playing video games for over 30 years. This game is by far the worst sports game ever in that time. There is no possible way I could list all the problems because I'm not lying when I say there are over 50 major BS things about this game, that's OVER 50! Mariano Rivera blowing 10 saves before the All Star break on simulation for another team. Starting pitchers with 2 ERA's and 1.1 WHIPS going 2-9.
Summary: first of all every 75% of the minor league players are fake. The graphics are terrible for example Jair Jurrjens is white and Geovany Soto is a redhead.I think the gamecube from 10 years ago had better graphics. The announcers mess up at least three times a game. It freezes about every 20 games.
If you are a fan of baseball, or just a human, dont buy this game.

Summary: Pros: My player mode is fun, pitching and hitting are good Cons: --Making a my player hitter is too easy, making a pitcher is too hard. --Gameplay fielding mechanics are terrible, fielding and throwing are rarely fluid or time sensitive (often your guy will field the ball stand straight up and then throw regardless of the situation) and same in outfield (will usually catch pause then throw instead of a needed crow hop etc) --Stealing is not realistic: you either steal...
Summary: This game is absolutely hideous. ***No online play or roster updates. Inexcusable for a "modern" game, especially one that costs $50. ***Graphics are terrible. ***Too many glitches. The game incorrectly records outs and runs, the announcers' calls are often wrong. ***Most players look nothing like their real-life counterparts. For example, Cubs catcher Geovanny Soto is represented by a light-skinned redhead...in other words, NOTHING like Soto.
Summary: It took me DAYS to even come up with something I could say about this game, in the first few sentences, that would set the stage for the rest of this review. Rest assured, the amount of time it took me to come up with something to say required more work and thought than 2K Sports spent on creating this game for the Nintendo Wii. Needless to say, I expected more from them. I was let down. For awhile, us Wii owners didn't have good sports games.
