Summary: This was a waste of money. The difficulty doesn't seem to change. On beginner the cpu team is able to get hit after hit, run after run. Replays show a hit when player team is up to bat yet they are calling strikes. Not a game I would ever recommend.
Summary: If you only play against the computer, this game is good. It fails when you want to play anther person. It is a stripped down version for other game consoles. The only option for person to person play is an Exhibition Game. You cannot pick your lineup before the game starts - you always get the same starting pitcher and fielders. The game does not carry stats from game to game.
Pros: Good game if you only want to play the computer
Major League Baseball 2K10 is not worth the price!
23 August 2010
Summary: This game is not worth the money. It doesn't have all the features, like it should for the price. I feel like I got half the game for the same amount of money as the full featured game, which I would have gotten on the Xbox360 or the PS3 . This game doesn't have career mode or does it have online play, like the other consoles versions would. Also, the graphics look like graphics from 2006. I didn't expect stellar graphics because, after all, it is the Nintendo Wii.
More glitches then any other baseball game I have every played.

Summary: First off I will say that the game is a lot of fun when you start. The pitching motion for the wii is a lot of fun. The batting is ok once you get the hang of it. Unfortunately the glitches and other things really get in the way of the game. As far back as I have been playing 2k baseball games (2k5 is when I started), the players make ridiculous errors that even a person who has never played baseball wouldn't make.
Summary: I'm a huge baseball fan but only a moderate gamer, so when I bought this game for the Wii, I did so after ignoring some of the criticism about its graphics being sub-par because that's not the most important aspect of a game to me. I figured as long as it was fun I'd be happy. Well, the issues with this game go far beyond its graphics.
RIPOFF ALERT: 2K Sports is once again selling MLB2K8 in a new package

Summary: I own MLB2K8 on the wii and can honestly say it has been one of my favorites on the system. The batting and pitching mechanics are more effective and accurate (not to mention fun!) than any other baseball platform I have played, and the franchise and season modes are addictive and have kept me entertained for more time than I would like to admit despite lackluster graphics, so-so announcers, and occasional glitches.
