Excerpt: I have always enjoyed a good baseball game. Major League Baseball 2K10 is a good baseball game. That does not mean there is not an issue here or there. Overall I am very impressed with Major League Baseball 2K10. The focus in this Wii sports video game is pitchers versus hitters. We all know that is the core of baseball. Sure there is more going on, but the main theme of baseball is the duels between the pitchers and the hitters.
Solid baseball simulation that might prove too complicated.

Summary: Parents need to know that this is a straightforward simulation of Major League Baseball. Players guide one of 32 teams through games or seasons and World Series glory. The game is playable online, a feature Common Sense Media does not recommend to children under the age of 12.
Decent mechanics paired with some of the worst looking baseball around.

Conclusion: MLB 2K10 is not a good game, but unlike most wholly unimpressive titles, this one actually has promise. The control mechanics don’t rely too heavily on cheesy motion mechanics and the few that do perform reasonably well. The real issue is the heinously old engine that makes the game chug along and couldn’t generate a smooth edge if its virtual life depended on it.
