Madden NFL 09 All-Play

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: I was not sure if I would approve of how EA Sports changed Madden NFL when All-Play was announced. I was so hesitant that I did not jump on Madden NFL 09 All-Play when it was first released. When I saw the game on clearance at Target I picked it up. I am very glad that I did.

Madden NFL 09: All-Play Review

Cheat Code Central
30 November 2008
  • Conclusion: In the end, the Madden Franchise has been a tremendous success for all involved. EA has done a great job in Madden All-Play 2009 for the Wii by taking the motion controls and skillfully bringing that element into Madden football.

An excellent Madden game for players of all ages.

Common Sense Media

  • Summary: Parents need to know that there's no inappropriate content in this video game – unless you consider professional football too violent a sport. While some sports games have a soundtrack with off-color lyrics, this game doesn't.

Madden NFL 09 (Wii) Review

411mania.com
9 October 2008
  • Summary: Ultimately, this Madden is compatible on the field with the other versions. However, if you own a XBOX 360 or PS3 to be honest I would stick to that. Using the Wii Remote to play this game is not for everyone, especially those hardcore Madden players that play a couple of games every day.

Madden NFL 09 All-Play (Wii)

Crispy Gamer

  • Excerpt: Twenty years of Madden? Twenty years since Trip Hawkins and John Madden hammered out the idea on a train to Oakland, and Electronic Arts made skinny fans feel like a little bit like self-confident, football-playing Masters of the Universe?

GameSpot
18 August 2008
  • Summary: Madden NFL 09: All-Play for the Wii is for the person who thinks "Bump and Run" is an R. Kelly song. It's for your girlfriend who thinks the tight end is the player that looks best in his uniform pants.
  • Pros: Designing new plays at the line is useful and fun, Simplified play calling and controls, Online play works well, Solid, time-tested gameplay
  • Cons: Playing Five-on-Five has limited appeal, Superstar, Franchise, and Party modes have received almost no attention, Too much old, recycled content, "Celebrating" after a TD mostly involves waving your arms like a nut
