Not Worth It

Summary: Well, I didn't have really high expectations for this game in the first place. I'm an avid Lord of the Rings fan, and have loved most all the games EA produced that were Lord of the Rings themed, but since EA has lost the contract, it seems every Lord of the Rings game now is just a sad attempt, and it makes me sad to see Lord of the Rings so badly misconstrued. This game has no real story behind it, at least no story fitting for Middle-Earth.
Summary: Ah, Aragorn. *sigh* I had hopes for you based on the other reviews. Maybe not HIGH hopes, but still... Frustrating camera angles mad me give up on you after the first couple levels. I even put you away for awhile and came back and tried you again but no. Camera=frustrating. Too bad. I love LOTR. Oh well. Some people seem to like it but my life's to short to fight with it.
Summary: Very weak. Game play is blunt, no finesse, story is slow. Action is very much hack and slash. The transitions between story lines is slow and laborious. I'm surprised this game was rated as high as it was.
Summary: When I first picked up Aragorn's Quest, another Wii game came to mind immedeitely: Monster Hunter Tri. I then thought to myself "Hey, MH3 was a fun ride, maybe this will be the same'. Well, if this is what you're thinking, erase that thought immedeately. AQ is as tedious as online rpgs get, and it sucks even more combined with the crap-tastic graphics, weak enemies, and boring gameplay.
