Summary: We're not fans of Littlest Pet Shop but it was a good price for the game. Both son (7 years) and daughter (5 years) enjoyed playing with this but not for long. The games are more suited to an older child. My daughter just likes dressing up the dogs and not much else.
Nice sort of game but did not excite kids as much as hoped

Summary: The game is ok and quite playable. It is a little on the dull side and did not excite the kids as much as I hoped. I guess compared to Mario Kart which is their favourite it's very difficult to compete for their attention! Overall the game plays well and seems quite smooth. Not too exciting but nice.
Summary: After reading the other reviews we bought this for my 6-yo daughter. We haven't been a gaming family up to this point and the Wii was the first game platform we bought. Although the game is very cute, my daughter is frustrated because she is not playing enough to unlock the other worlds (and I don't know, but maybe she also isn't winning enough at the games). Part of this is probably that we limit her 'screen time' and so she doesn't sit for hours playing.
Summary: Ideally suited to 4-6 year old girls this schmaltzy cute game is very easy to play and varied enough to keep even the most inquisitive child occupied for hours on end. As a parent it'll drive you nuts. The whole thing is very repetative which makes it ideal for a young child as there are very few skills need to master the basics of the game play. You start with one pet whom you look after, feed, put to sleep and take for walks collecting kibble coins as you go.
