  1. Wii's World

    8.5/10
    8 May 2011

While Little King's Story may have its share of flaws, the game more than makes up for them with its depth, variety and addicting gameplay. It is the type of game a player can start and intend to spend only a little bit of time with and can end up with them easily spending an entire day with it. If you've ever dreamed of conquering the world with Beethoven's 9th blaring in the background, Little King's Story is definitely a game that you should seek out. Read more

Quick, go buy it before it's delayed again!! It has certainly been a long wait for North American Wii owners, but now they can finally get their hands on Little King’s Story. Delays have made it tough; I still remember when I thought the game would be out in May. Well, it is finally here, but was it worth the wait? Read more

Little King's Story is one of the best in the Wii's library. It is fun to play for hours on end, and offers much more depth than your average title. It has a look all its own and the highly recognizable classical music is used very well. If you're looking for something good on the Wii, I recommend that everyone at least give Little King's Story a try. Read more

As king, players will manage and involve their townspeople in the goals of creating a new territory. He will enlist them to dig for treasure, build new buildings and otherwise better their community. Players must try to conquer rival nations to create a single, unified kingdom. The game transforms the Wii Remote into a royal scepter and offers players the chance to be the best king in the world! Read more

Since its initial announcement I’ve been looking forward to Little King’s Story (LKS) and I picked it up upon its European release. The premise appealed to me and I’m sure many others. After all, who didn’t dream of being King as a child? Ruling your own kingdom, bossing others around and having servants at your command, controlling your own army and having everybody celebrate your existence. Read more

Some great ideas mixed with terrible design decisions. Read more

    • The grind is strangely addictive thanks to a constant stream of rewards; the cut-scenes are insane and beautiful.
    • Poor save system; brutally difficult boss fights; much of the game feels like trial and error rather than skill.

It's addicting. If you like animal crossing this is your game (not as addicting as Animal Crossing). The fighting sucks and you end up wasting more time playing the game than actually PLAYING it. frustrating game. easy annoying. Read more or see product

*This review is also on Dooyoo.com* Gamespot.com had told me that this game was going to be great. I had read previews about the gameplay, which is said to be a cross between Pikmin and harvest moon; two games i enjoy. So when i came out, with the little money my student loan gives me, i went out and bought it at full price (which i rarely do - second hand gamestores are the way forward!). Playing the game when i got home, i was not disapointed at all. Read more

£7.99 is an absolute bargain! I bought this over a year ago at full price and loved every minute of it. It took me about fifty hours to complete the main story and then there were still unfinished side-quests to do. Don't be misled by the screenshots on the back of the box this is a really in-depth, detailed game and definitely not just a 'kids' game. Read more
