VGChartz
2 February 2009
  • Excerpt: If anybody would have told you ten, or maybe even five years ago that Nintendo would create a light gun style Zelda title, you would have probably either deemed the said person crazy or just flat out oblivious to what the Zelda franchise really is to Nintendo and the gaming industry. However, Nintendo has done the unexpected, and although Link’s Crossbow Training doesn’t break any new boundaries in the world of light gun style shooting games, what the game does offer is...

  • Excerpt: Like every single other gamer in the universe, when the Nintendo Wii was announced, I immediately flipped out at the possibilities of some new "light gun" type games. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who used his lunch breaks to play Time Crisis, so Nintendo jumped on the bandwagon and got to work. Now, a year after the Wii hit shelves in North America, Nintendo has unveiled the Wii's first official peripheral, the Wii Zapper.

Link's Crossbow Training (Wii)

The Review Busters
19 April 2008
  • Conclusion: For $20 this is a steal…for now. Other guns are either out or are coming out soon for the Nintendo Wii. If you only can own official Nintendo products then you might as well buy this bundle. Link’s Crossbow Training is a fun game for about an hour, but once you beat it there is no need to put it back on. Nice try Nintendo, but next time maybe you want to add more to the free game or charge people a whole lot less.

  • Excerpt: Nintendo is known for many innovative controllers. The original NES, its d-pad and two buttons; the SNES and its triggers; Nintendo 64 and its analog stick; GameCube and its pressure sensitive triggers; Wii and its motion sensing remote shaped controller. Now Nintendo has released a peripheral add-on to the Wii Remote that you encase it in along with the nunchuk to create more precise control in shooters.
