Summary: This game looks cute, so we got it for my kids at Christmas. BIG MISTAKE. The game play is horrible, a really bad combination of clumsy control interface and pointless objectives, with very little in-game description or story. my 6 and 8 year old can play complicated games like Zelda Skyward Sword, but this one frustrated them unendingly. AVOID THIS GAME or your kid will be unhappy, and so will you.
Summary: You can only buy this game used, so for those of you who didn't get an instruction booklet, here goes: This game is for 1 or 2 players. You don't use a nunchuck, just the basic Wii remote. You move around with the +Control Pad, up, down, right and left. Because of this the movements of your character are jerky, and you can get dizzy walking around the garden, but this is the worst glitch in the program.
Summary: This is the crappiest game I have seen in 30 years. The movements are so unstable make me want to vomit. The 30 second games take a minute to load and another minute to go back to the map screen. The games are simple enough for a 4 year old to breeze through if not for 2 things: they have to be able to read completely independently to play and all the loading makes them lose interest fast. I can't imagine any age group or personality type that would enjoy this game.
hard to get past the annoying structure and logistics
29 September 2010
Summary: I bought this for my 5 year old daughter seems cute enough with variety and games to practice control of the remote. The games are cute enough and would be good for kids but the structure of the game and menu are just HORRIBLE. Every time you want to play the game again or pick a different game you are taken to the main menu to start your selection all over from scratch, and it goes S L O W!!! It makes no sense why you cant just hit replay.
