ARG! Total frustration for the Wii - could have been great!

Summary: A simple two part review: First, Lego Rock Band is cool. My kids (7,6,4) love it, and we've had a great time playing it today. Minifigs look great, songs are interesting, and the Super Easy modes (and especially the no drum pedal) option are really nice for the smaller kids. Second, no additional content for the Wii! Contrary to what the product description says above, you can not use DLC from Rock Band 2 on Lego Rock Band if you have a Wii.
Summary: We have several other Rock Band (RB) titles, so I was hoping for something special because it was "Lego" Rock Band, but unfortunately, I was wrong. The only thing "special" about Lego Rock Band is that it's more kid-friendly than previous RB titles. You can never fail out of a song and have to start over (like all the other RBs) There's also an additional difficulty choice - "super-easy".
Excerpt: Super easy mode and auto-kick options are great and makes the difference. But this game is pretty similar to Rock Band, and I don't recommend it to someone who already has Rock Band. If you're new to Rock Band world and just want to give it to your small kids, than it's worth (if you get it for less than 10 pounds).
Summary: Buying this as an introduction to video/music games and having read the website description, as in the first review, we were not aware that we would need to buy additional 'instruments' to play this game. We wrongly assumed that you could use the controllers that came with the wii, as another similar game does. Needed to send it back. Amazon good to give a refund.
