Excerpt: The Lego video games have had varying degrees of success over the years. Family Friendly Gaming does its best to stay on top of this series because millions of families enjoy the games, and they are safer than many other franchises for families. I ran across Lego Indiana Jones 2 The Adventure Continues and decided to purchase it. Traveler’s Tales and Lucasarts have really topped themselves with this cross console video game.
Conclusion: Whatever its flaws, this game does a decent enough job of walking the line between sticking to the formula and mixing things up. The developers will need to refine some of the changes in future installments; in particular, the "where do I go now?" problem is serious, especially for very young children with short attention spans.
Wii Review - 'LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues'
2 February 2010
Summary: LEGO Indiana Jones 2 presents a tongue-in-cheek take on all four cinematic adventures of pop culture’s most iconic archaeologist, including for the first time ever Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and will give players the ability to create levels of their own!
Excerpt: You're doubtless just dying to know, so we'll put you out of your misery right now. Yes, the gophers are in LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. How could the videogame version of the most recent filmic Jones outing, The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, not include the furry little critters, arguably the most divisive moment in last year's highly divisive movie.
