playing problems

Macinmom, Amazon
15 December 2013
  • Summary: Did the manufacturer ever fix this game? When playing this Harry Potter 5-7 game, the screen would freeze and a loud noise would come out. This happened with the original we purchased and the replacement. This purchase was made in 2011 and now 2 years later, our son is asking for it again.

Best for older kids, kids really good at the Wii.

  • Summary: Would probably be a good game for an older kid. Even though it says 5-7, my 5 year old (almost 6) had enormous difficulty trying to figure this game out and eventually stopped and asked me to sell it and get another game.

Wii version is too dark to see puzzles

K. Hebert, Amazon
25 November 2014
  • Summary: I generally enjoy the Lego games very much, but they need to be more thorough when porting to the Wii. This game (and years 1 to 4) is far too dark to see several areas (some containing puzzles) even with brightness and contrast adjusted as much as possible. And we have an HD TV!

  • Summary: I bought this for my daughters birthday in August and she found that on year 5 it froze and let out this ear piercing screech so I returned it and got a replacement at the beginning of September.

DISAPPOINTED

MRS L A TATTERSDILL, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: My son was over the moon to receive this as a birthday present and was very excited to play it. But unfortunately it sticks halfway through and he can't complete this game atall. Very disappointing and it was too late to send it back for a replacement or refund.

Doesn't save properly have to re-do large portions of the game

Ruth1708, amazon.co.uk
21 May 2012
  • Summary: It's quite a fun game and kept my kids entertained. However, there's no way to manually save the game and it only saves at random intervals. These can be really quite long interval so that if you stop playing it means you have re-do massive sections of the game.

Great when it works

L. Miller, amazon.co.uk
9 March 2012
  • Summary: My children and I love a bit of family time - playing the lego HP games. Unfortunately, like other reviewers, the game froze on a year 6 scenario (after Mr Weasley's shed) and we couldn't get past it, even when we reset the wii and played it 4 times in a row. Very frustrating!

On my third copy!

Amazon Customer "funkysonicwins", amazon.co.uk
13 January 2012
  • Summary: As with most of the reviewers on here I can't give a full review because I can't play the whole game. It freezes and glitches around the Kreacher Comforts level and despite having been quickly sent a replacement by Amazon, the replacement has exactly the same fault.

  • Summary: Had a glitch halfway through so I could never complete the game. Very disappointed as to that point I was enjoying it as much as the first one.
