Reviews and Problems with Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7

Summary: Did the manufacturer ever fix this game? When playing this Harry Potter 5-7 game, the screen would freeze and a loud noise would come out. This happened with the original we purchased and the replacement. This purchase was made in 2011 and now 2 years later, our son is asking for it again. Not sure if I want to take the chance on a third game.
Summary: Would probably be a good game for an older kid. Even though it says 5-7, my 5 year old (almost 6) had enormous difficulty trying to figure this game out and eventually stopped and asked me to sell it and get another game. To make this game fun, then kid should be much older or have significant skill with the Wii.
Summary: We have purchased the HArry Porter 5-7 Wii game and it keeps locking up on Year 6 at the Weesly House while they are fighting the fire that Bella set. Is there a patch that can be down loaded to fix this problem? If not, what is the method do you have to replace or return this defective product?
Summary: I generally enjoy the Lego games very much, but they need to be more thorough when porting to the Wii. This game (and years 1 to 4) is far too dark to see several areas (some containing puzzles) even with brightness and contrast adjusted as much as possible. And we have an HD TV! Very unfortunate that they released an inferior product for an otherwise delightful franchise.
Summary: I bought this for my daughters birthday in August and she found that on year 5 it froze and let out this ear piercing screech so I returned it and got a replacement at the beginning of September. Unfortunately she did not try the game until this week (end of October) and this new copy freezes in the same place game now basically useless. DO NOT BUY unless you want to disappoint your child. I cannot get my money back (or replace if that is worth it) as been left too late.
Summary: My son was over the moon to receive this as a birthday present and was very excited to play it. But unfortunately it sticks halfway through and he can't complete this game atall. Very disappointing and it was too late to send it back for a replacement or refund.
Doesn't save properly have to re-do large portions of the game

Summary: It's quite a fun game and kept my kids entertained. However, there's no way to manually save the game and it only saves at random intervals. These can be really quite long interval so that if you stop playing it means you have re-do massive sections of the game. My son actually finished year 5 and when he came back to start year 6 it hadn't saved his progress and he had to do the end of year 5 again. Very annoying!!
Summary: My children and I love a bit of family time - playing the lego HP games. Unfortunately, like other reviewers, the game froze on a year 6 scenario (after Mr Weasley's shed) and we couldn't get past it, even when we reset the wii and played it 4 times in a row. Very frustrating! Amazon's customer service has once again been fantastic, but I am reluctant to re-purchase the game after discovering today that others have had the same issue.
Summary: As with most of the reviewers on here I can't give a full review because I can't play the whole game. It freezes and glitches around the Kreacher Comforts level and despite having been quickly sent a replacement by Amazon, the replacement has exactly the same fault. Soooo disappointing that they would release a game without thorough testing.
