Summary: This game is great except for the fact that after you finish a level you are required to search endlessly for the entrances to the next levels. This wastes so much time. I much preferred the first game, where you were just in the Batcave and you could easily move from one to the next. There was one particular level (I don't remember which) that I just couldn't find. I had to quit playing and just leave it for another day.
A little difficult for a five year old (and a thirtysomething dad)

Summary: My son can dominate on Lego Star Wars Complete Saga and can play Lego Indiana Jones by himself, but I guess Batman 2 is a bit too open-ended. Solving puzzles and levels is not very obvious and I have gotten stuck without a clue several times playing it. The gameplay itself is very fun, but when you can't figure out what to do next the game gets put away for a while.
Summary: I bought the LEGO Batman 2 for my 6-year old son. He has the first LEGO Batman game and loved it. The graphics on the sequel game is too jarring, and the split screen on two player makes it difficult to play. The first batman game is definitely the better pick.
Summary: My oldest child started out light on the really young kids games, like Dora-themed stuff, but quickly became a huge fan of Sports Resort. I didn't really know where to go from there, cos we had lots of fun playing together, and I read some research (I say read, but it was actually a TED talks documentary) on the benefits of parents playing with their kids. Yes, even video games!
Summary: We got this game for our 4 yr old son. He loves Batman 1 so we figures Batman 2 would be a good one to get. Wow, were we wrong! Batman 2 is much harder then the first one. There is not much explanation as to where you are and what you are suppose to do. It is also much darker then the first game, much to our disappointment. The camera angles make it difficult to see what you are doing and game play seems choppy at times.
Summary: Bought this game for my son via his request. We absolutely LOVE the Lego games!! They are fun, clean, and enjoyable for the whole family. My son likes this game especially due to all the different characters that have joined Batman in this version. It's hard to go wrong with a Lego game. We own several and love them all!
Summary: this is is really fun! it has more then just batman! it has so many other super heroes from other movies. It has so many missions and things to accomplish and its just a really great gams! reccomend it all kids!
