Wii Rollin' Along

GIN
16 May 2007
  • Excerpt: Ever wonder what it'd be like as a cat or dog or even a penguin walking through your world? It's always been a cool idea to me; the idea of being able to hang out all day with no care in the world. Well, in Kororinpa: Marble Mania, they improve on this fascination. You don't become an animal, but better"a marble that looks like an animal. After playing the game, the idea of becoming one of these marbles doesn't seem quite as thrilling.

Kororinpa: Marble Mania

Thunderbolt Games

  • Excerpt: It’s quiet inside the room. Or at least, you think it is. There’s an upbeat tune coming out of the screen in front of you, and your breath is coming out in soft sighs. You’ve blocked the noise out, though; you’re too distracted to notice your surroundings. Your hand is trembling as you rotate it ever so slightly, turning the object with your fingers with the delicacy of a brain surgeon.

Kororinpa: Marble Mania

Cosmos Gaming
1 April 2007
  • Excerpt: Kororinpa is the latest take on the Marble Madness/Super Monkey Ball style of gameplay, but this time makes use of the Wii Remote and its capabilities. As players can tilt each of the various stages, the developers have come up with some very inventive ones to play through. Unfortunately, even if the concept is exactly what the Wii was suited for, the slightly limited replay value and plain presentation keep Kororinpa from being the absolute must have it could’ve been.

Kororinpa: Marble Mania review (WII)

HonestGamers
24 March 2007
  • Excerpt: The Wii Remote lets you instantly tilt the playing field in the corresponding direction. Suppose you’re coming up on a fork in the path. Just turning your wrist slightly will cause your marble to roll in the appropriate direction.
