Summary: After watching several reviews on Youtube, I wanted to pick this up, but it was always a little higher in price than I wanted for a kids games. A couple of months ago amazon had it on sale for $13. So I picked it up. Glad I waited. While it is very fun 2 1/2D platformer, it does start out rather easy, but by level 10 it takes plenty of dying and patience to get everything from a level. The boss battles are all fairly easy, but again enjoyable.
Challenging platformer for all ages, not too serious

Summary: I bought this game as a Christmas gift for my little brother, who is 8 years old, and he loves it. Unlike most modern platformers aimed at children, Klonoa has levels that will take several tries to complete. Most of the difficulty comes from jumping across narrow platforms, with generic enemies as obstacles, but the levels are still creatively designed.
Summary: THis game is great , a bit short, but still AWESOME! If you like platformers this IS the game for you. This game could be beaten around 4-5 hours. This game is in 2.5D basicaly this is 2d elements with 3d interactable backgrounds. This game was supposed to be pointed toward children you can tell by some voice acting(not all). the difficulty in this game starts out easy but it sure spikes in the later levels you will find yourself dying or falling of edges more often.
Summary: I loved it. This is truly the one and only video game I have ever finished and completed. I started playing at a friends house and fell instantly in love. I loved know exactly where I had to go, and only being able to go one way. There was almost no possible way to get lost. When I brought it home with me, after borrowing it, I couldn't stop playing. Not even my friend had gotten as far as I had!
A throwback to the platformers of yesteryear with a 2.5D spin

Summary: This game is short (only a few hours long), and though there are some tricky platforming parts that will take you at least a few tries to get down, it's generally easy. But if you think short and easy makes for a bad game...well, quite frankly, you suck. Klonoa makes me feel like a kid again. It reminds me of the many forgotten platformers I played back in the day that had simple yet unique gameplay.
Summary: Platformers are one of my favorite types of games. They hardly make them anymore!! At first when you're playing this it does seem very childish, and there are several talking cutscenes you can't skip through. But they don't waste too much of your time. This is not an extremely difficult game, but it does become more challenging as you go along. I admit I've only made it to the end of Chapter 2 and then I ran out of lives.
Summary: Okay, so the story line is a little hokey and the cut scenes take too long for not holding any strategy information in them. Otherwise I like this game very much. It requires more expertise at the higher levels. It progresses from fairly easy to rather hard at the end. I am currently stuck on a triple grab and jump spot to get to the doorway.
Conclusion: I own the original ps1 version and it never ceases to amaze me how often i remember a game looking great, then go back to it and am astonished at how crappy the graphics was :P .. that may just be due to seeing it on a 42" plasma now, than a 15" crt tv back then :P ..but anyway.
