Summary: Two years later, this game continues to be my kids' favorite Wii game, even among Mario cart and other popular games. They are ages 9, 6, and 4 and can play for long periods of time, exploring new areas and finding new things each time they play. I am amazed at how many different activities and areas are packed into this game. I had know idea that it would be this good.
Summary: My kids and their friends have been captivated by this game. Though we have several other Wii games for them to choose from, this has become their favorite by far. It's also good, clean fun and that is a rare find.
Summary: This is totally fun. It can be relaxing and enjoyed either by yourself or as a family exercise; or it can be as strenuous a workout as you want. My husband and I workout regularly with the WII fit and find this a nice change of pace. And just as a reference that it is for anyone... I'm 69 and my husband is 70. Go for it.
Summary: I bought it to my son and he was so excited with this game and the ways to play that he spent a weekend discovering most of them. It's a very good gift for those who enjoy sports and play Wii.
Summary: Our boys (elementary ages) really enjoy this game. The older one especially likes the aspect of exploring the island and unlocking new items. It doesn't work as well as some other games for 'party' style play where people want to just sit down play a quick game with one another. But it is far more entertaining than those other games for an individual to play. It does require both a WII remote and a nunchuck for each player.
Summary: I purchased this game because I had my 5 grandsons staying for 2 weeks. Not being a gamer myself, I read the reviews and took a chance. Wow! they loved it . The boys ranged in age from 6 to 12, and they played it whenever they had opportunity. Honestly, we bought a second game and borrowed one of their Wii systems to have 2 of the same games going at once. In the 2 weeks, they only played a couple of other games, and went right back to this one.
