Summary: A very poor excuse for a game. The real challenge is that we were never able to locate any fish to catch. Kept trying different locations and nothing. The casting and reeling are poorly designed and the graphics are awful too. I wish that I had read the reviews before buying this game as a Christmas present. I brought it back to the store and was grateful that I was able to get my money back. I would stay away from throwing any money away by buying this game.
Summary: Bought this for my boyfriend. He liked it, but it took some work to figure out how to play it. Patience are needed. The first day my nine year old daughter played it, she broke the rod. We hope the glue and tape holds it together.
Summary: I love the graphics, and the gameplay. I have played ALOT of crappy fishing games, and this is not one of them! It'll get you mad just like fishing, and keep you coming back for more just like fishing. I enjoy the rod and reel attachment, though after a while of playing it will stick a little. I guess it gets pretty warm for plastic. Other than that I have no complaints. Buy it and enjoy it.
Summary: My Dad got this for Christmas so we tried to play it a bit this morning. its just a poorly made game all around, and my dad being a fisherman and a fan of 'KVD' was disappointed he would put his name on this trash. the casting at first seems 'broken'. eventually we learned how to cast a bit, but then the problem is the reeling in. you get like 10 turns with the crank and the line is back in. not much time to do anything. we couldnt figure out how to change lures either.
Summary: I bought this game a few weeks ago and was bored within minutes of starting the game. It just wasn't entertaining at all and not worth trying to figure out. I returned the game immediately and of the $18 I spent on it, I only got $1.19 back. This is because they charged me a $6 return shipping fee and an $8 restocking fee. Annoying.
