Movement is so slow that the game feels broken.

Anonymous , GameStop
18 April 2013
  • Summary: I looked forward to playing this game as soon as I heard it came out in Japan. Unfortunately, wile trying to put so much focus on creating a spooky ambiance they failed to add the element of realistic environments. When it comes to the control for the entire experience you feel as if you are walking in molasses. The character you play has absolutely no sense of urgency.

  • Summary: To keep it short and sweet... this game is wayyyy too slow. It's boring. The controls are terrible. It isn't scary at all. Loved the movie, but the game is quite lame.

The scariest part about this game? Realizing you paid for it!

TuxedoWerewolf, Amazon
14 April 2010
  • Summary: I bought this game at GameStop last year, and it was a little scary, but it was WAY too predictable. The scariest part about this game is realizing that I paid for the hunk of junk! 1) There are little to almost no puzzles, which makes the game far too easy. 2) There are only 5 levels; each one takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. The game is TOO SHORT.

Controls are terrible.

Lloyd Christmas, Amazon
15 January 2010
  • Summary: I spent 15 minutes trying to walk to where I want to walk, not because of the difficulty of the game, but rather the difficulty of the controls. It's horrible -- the worst controls I've ever experienced on any game from any platform. It's the most frustrating thing. I've no idea how this is actually on the market.

Great for kids, Bad for adults.

webshopper, Amazon
29 December 2009
  • Summary: The only honest way to sum this game up honestly as an adult is that it sucks! Boring, hard to control, not the least bit scary, flashlight batteries run out too fast. If you wanna get scared buy the movies forget this game! Might be good for kids in the 9-12 age bracket but that's about it. Total waste of money!

this game is bad

Phillip J. Medina, Amazon
6 December 2009
  • Summary: just do a little research besides some of these fake posts by people trying to say its a good game, trust me its not. the wii basically has a ton a bad games and this one is the cream of the crop, makes me wonder about this person who wrote like a 4 paragraph review on this, because its a complete laugh for me to read it as they try to sell you on this game, so much so that i had to write my own review.

I really wanted to like this game.

J. Tillery, Amazon
6 December 2009
  • Summary: The game itself has a horrible plot. A girl lost her dog in a factory, which is for some reason is hunted by the two kids, and gets all her family cursed. They're four different level and each level can be beat in thirty minutes. You could actually beat it in ten minutes if it wasn't for the fact it takes you five minutes to walk ten steps. Seriously, there's no option to run at all and you walk way to slow. The levels also have poor graphics.

boring, not scary

Jeff G, Amazon
30 November 2009
  • Summary: Quite disappointed with this game. It was quite uneventful, and a little frustrating to find my way around to complete the objectives. The 2nd player option is completely pointless: Scare player 1 randomly with a screen filled with blood splatter? OOooooh, spooky!

Worst Game EVER! (seriously....)

Game_warrior1212, Game Informer
22 October 2009
  • Summary: My grandma bought this game for my cousin some time ago. He told me it was fun and let me borrow it for a week. When I played, I had the worst time of my life. Seriously this a VERY boring game. If I were you I wouldn't waste my money on it. After day one, I put it on my shelf and returned it to him the next day. It wasn't worth my time and it shouldn't be one for you either.
