3.5 I would actually rate it

  • Summary: I really like this game.Surely it's graphics are not the best but it is very entertaining! I finished it in a month but I am playing again now because there are so many mini games that I didn't unlock the first time! It is very nice to play that game with your friends as well.I would definitely recommend it for teenagers up to fifteen years old. The only thing that bothers is the pretty annoying music.

Enjoyable to kill the odd hour here and there

  • Summary: First of all I don't believe for a second the person who says that they completed this in 25 minutes. You can easily defeat the first space object in 25 minutes, and if you always do the few minigames you end up most skilled at then subsequent levels are made easier, but we are on about the tenth object and have probably invested four or five hours in this over the course of a few months.

  • Summary: A simple collection of mini-games. The premise was vaguely entertaining but the games were a bit pants. It was finished very quickly and not played again.

Job Island

A kid's review, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Great game. The only problem is that it's a bit too short. The story is amazing and very imaginative. I love the pictures and the people (or things) you have to fight are all very funny e.g. thumb in noodles Overall I think it's pretty good.

A great mini-game compilation

Iman Amil "Ms I A", amazon.co.uk
9 October 2010
  • Summary: Job Island is wacky but awesome mini-game compilation. There are 50 mini-games in total and it is enjoyable for the whole family to enjoy. Most of the mini-games are a lot of fun and really funny. A few are tediously annoying but that it a minor flaw you can overlook. The game's main plot is humorous; you have to stop a meteorite by earning money to buy the special weapons in order to destroy it. Despite the game's flaws, the game is a laugh and great for family parties.

beginning but off putting, but persevere!!

  • Conclusion: I brought this game just to see what it was all about, the beginning was really annoying... long introduction and narrative. Once i got going it actually got quite addictive, the jobs are quite funny to complete but u dont have an option to try again which stops u from having the option to build up your points before progressing. Good fun for the younger player but anyone over the age of 10 will get bored quickly.

Annoying storyline, but enjoyable

SLWDVD, Play.com
19 March 2010
  • Conclusion: As with other reviews the story is boring and can be very repetative, I've destroyed 1 meteorite, but hang on there's another and again after that, there's another! But despite that I do enjoy this game, it was good to keep doing the jobs to try and beat the previous score and increase my 'experience'.

  • Conclusion: Stay away from this game, it isn't even worth £10 let alone the heft RRP in any of the stores, The game itself is repetirtive and very annoying. Buy carnival instead and save yuourself £15 quid!!!!
