Summary: I got quite bored when you are told to go this way and back all the time. I agree, great graphics, but after a while, you get bored of having to ride on the HORSE all the time I would not recommend this to a three year old, because a horse dies and a foal becomes orphaned.plus, it only lets you go where the people tell you. I got very bored on this game. Recommended for 6+,I got scared at the point where you tame stallions and they got in a mood.
Summary: The game was delivered in record time, it arrived much sooner than expected. To say I'm happy with the delivery time is an understatement. The packaging was excellent (so good it took a pair of scissors to get at the product). The disc showed some use, as in the description, and my daughter has had many hours of fun playing it and has said it is her favourite game. Very satisfied.
Summary: Got this game for my 13 year old daughter. Thought it would be very similar to other games in this genre but was actually very disappointed with the graphics and the content. The actual length of the game was poor, my daughter finished it in only a few sittings!I think this game would be ok for a younger player but it in no way compared to games such as mary king's riding school 2 and my horse and me 1 and 2.
Summary: After completing and enjoying Pippa Funnell Ranch Rescue I really looked forward to trying this one as a sequel. In some ways it is better - the graphics are excellent, the horses slightly smoother to control - but overall I found it too easy and completed the game in just a few short sessions. There are only three competitions to enter, with no practice sessions beforehand, and even the big competition is pretty easy.
Summary: I am 15 years old and when I got it I was looking forward to playing it but I was sadly disappointed. The graphics were good but it was mainly about running around doing things for people, the controls are rather hard and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't make the horse slow down all it did was go faster.Grooming the horse was good you actually felt like you were looking after a horse. After a while of being annoyed with this game I put it down and didn't touch it...
Summary: I bought the Wii version of this game because being able to use the wiimote and nunchuck to direct the horse really appealed to me. The graphics are some of the best I've seen on the wii and the riding is easy to pick up. The game does suffer from a lack of substance however: while there is a storyline, it isn't hugely engaging and the competitions almost seem to have been added as an afterthought, though they are fun enough.
Summary: Having bought the 1st game in this series (Pippa Funnel - Ranch Rescue) I was curious about the sequel. I completed the game in about 4 hours but there is still loads to keep you occupied after wards! I still haven't tamed all the beautiful horses yet... Basicly, you have to go and tame wild mustangs, take care of them, save the mustang breed and then compete on your wild mustangs. There is also mystery involved and I found this a very exciting game.
Summary: I bought this game after playing Ranch Rescue and was really excited that it was the same characters. The controls are the same, the graphics are pretty and the story line was interesting. However, it was a very short game to play (I finished in a little over 3 hours playing time) and the game is more based on completing tasks rather than winning competitions. I did enjoy the game, but I found Ranch Rescue a much better purchase.
Summary: Imagine Champion Rider is a really good. It's basically the sequel to Pippa Funnell:Ranch Rescue. I borrowed it from my friend to start with and then decided to buy it for myself because it was so good! Graphics are great and there is an interesting story-line so you don't get bored. If there was another wii game in the story I would definetely buy it. The only down side is that it's quite short and a bit on the easy side but apart from that, an excellent game!
