A great arcade experience
29 April 2014
Summary: Without so many arcades I had feared no one would remember the rail shooter genre. But the Wii version of house of the dead does it justice. Very fun game to play alone or with friends. We've spent hours taking out zombies one after the other. If you're iffy about getting this game, I strongly recommend it.
Summary: I loved the old arcade game and this one puts a whole new twist on it. I bought a perfect shot WII pistol for this game and spent abut 2 weeks playing it. You can constanlty change weapons and find hidden suprises. Some levels are more fun than others. But even better than the old game.
Summary: This is one of my favorite titles for the Wii. It is best described thusly: if Quentin Tarrantino made a zombie game. That will either make you love it or hate it. The Wiimotes actually work pretty well and make great light guns. It is fun to laugh at, but don't expect it to be a deep experience- it is just cheap campy laughs. If you liked Typing of the Dead or House of the Dead, this game is for you.
Summary: ... it wasn't quite what I was expecting. I bought it as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he doesn't seem to care much for it either. The controls don't seem very well thought out considering that it's supposed to be zapper compatible (one of the main reasons that I chose this game). The whole feel of the game is kind of a low budget Quentin Tarantino movie knock-off, which is somewhat amusing but doesn't make up for the disappointing gameplay.
