Summary: Parents need to know that Hot Wheels Track Attack is designed mainly for younger players. The controls are easy and the computer-controlled opponents give players a lot of leniency. It is a game that anyone with basic motor skills should be able to play with no trouble whatsoever. The tracks are all designed with bright and colorful themes, making the race course just as much fun as actually racing the cars.
Excerpt: The commercially sponsored world of video games is, as Blackadder once put it, “strewn with cowpats from the Devil’s own Satanic herd”. Whether it be films, fast food restaurants, soft drinks or even comic relief, there has seldom been anything of note to come from the venture. Imagine our surprise then when a competition sponsored by Doritos to find a games consultant has resulted in not one, but two games worthy of your appraisal, and what’s more, they’re FREE!
