Overstock
31 December 2009
  • Summary: My kids just love to sing and the Wii has been a great outlet for them! They get to practice, learn new songs and words and just build their confidence! We have 5 of these now, and they love each one.

  • Summary: This was for my 5year old daughter, she was really pleased and enjoyed dancing to the songs. I would have not wanted to pay full price. But my daughter is happy and it's not hard.

Not like Just Dance...

katiie580, amazon.co.uk
19 July 2011
  • Summary: I bought this game on the assumption that it would be similar to Just Dance where you copy the actual dance moves. However, it is not like that at all. It is basically the dance mat game but using your hands instead of your feet. I would definitely recommend this for use as a party game rather than solo because if you found it as easy as I did, even on the hardest level, you would complete the entire game in the space of a couple of hours.

Awesome fun.

EccentricGirl, amazon.co.uk
24 April 2011
  • Summary: Although when learning the basics makes you feel slightly stupid, from then on it's just great fun. And if you try to get A+ i.e. no mistakes, on every song, every level, there's always a challenge, even when you've completed every song on every level. And the music's awesome, what more could you want?

Good game

Me, Myself & I, amazon.co.uk
6 August 2010
  • Summary: I bought this and as an adult I do find it tricky trying to get the response from the nunchuck or remote required to gain points as real effort seems needed and I can see why children particularly the younger ones would struggle. I actually bought this not so much for HSM although the films are fine but as a form of alternative exercise as I have done with another game.

Not easy to follow

J. A. Williams "cooking addict", amazon.co.uk
16 May 2010
  • Summary: We had been previously using 'Just Dance' and were expecting this to be similar. The moves are not on the screen just 'dots' which show you which direction your arms should go. My daughter gave up after two goes and hasn't been on it since.

  • Summary: Bought as a present for my eleven year old daughter. Excellent value for money and good fun. The more A scorecards you get the more songs are opened up for you to dance to.

Good but could be better.

M. A. Smith "Matt", amazon.co.uk
2 April 2010
  • Summary: I have two daughters, aged 6 and 10, and they nagged and nagged me to get them this game. On arrival of the game they played it for 2 hours straight and that was the last time they used it. They keep going back to another game called "Just Dance" which was much better value for money as it has longevity.

  • Summary: A good fun game which we have had hours of fun playing. Simple to learn basic moves which can easily be put into practise, good levels of difficulty to work through. Definitely one that gets you moving. If you love HSM, you'll love this.
