Not a "Just Dance" Game

Summary: This game is not at all like "Just Dance" games. The "dancing" uses just your arms and the game moved are not what the characters are even doing. Whereas in the Just Dance games, you watch and copy dance moves, this game prompts you to basically punch and pose in 8 directions to get points. My 7-year old doesn't seem so turned off but I think the game is lame.
Summary: We thought this was a High School Musical version of Just Dance. It is not. You don't really dance, you move your arms with the remote and nunchucks. My daughter did like creating the characters but that's about it. I would not recommend buying it.

Summary: The graphics are OK, and the quality of the songs is great. I loved the dance moves and it definitely gave me some good exercise, I was able to have fun and get a little bit of my daily workout in. I'd say that this game isn't worth purchasing, because although it was tons of fun for me to play through the whole game the first time and unlock all the content, it doesn't have much of a replay value and I would recommend for you just to borrow this game from a friend or...
Summary: You "dance" with only your arms, moving the wiimote and nunchuck up, down, and to the side following the onscreen prompt. Really, who dances like that? I don't know why all the dancing titles don't use mats! Anyway, unlike this game in other platforms, it is arm swinging only, no mat or feet use. Other negatives- your on screen charector doesn't dance with you, or even perform the same moves as you. Your movements don't follow the beat.
Summary: There's nothing particularly wrong with this game, except that it is a pretty far stretch to call what you do in the game "dancing". You move your arms about, trying to time your motion with a very finicky motion meter. (Hard for younger kids to get it right by anything more than chance.) The music is from HS Musical, of course, and you can make a character and see him or her dancing on screen.
Summary: I bought this game for my 13 year old daughter. Her grandma asked me to get a game for her to play on the new Wii they were buying the kids for Christmas. I read the reviews on this and figured it was iffy whether she'd like it or not. She liked the movies so I thought she might like this. She too was disappointed the voices are not the real ones of the songs from the movie and the dance moves are way too easy for her. This game is better geared for young children.
Summary: There sometimes can really be such a thing that is too much. That has been the case in the music industry with artists like Britney Spears Rihanna, who have all been just about hype and overexposure, and not even any bit of heart. That sadly has been the same thing with High School Musical for the movies. It really has been too much of a franchise lately.
Wer richtig Tanzen will sollte zu anderen Spiele greifen.
