Summary: After recently rewatching Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, I was really surprised to learn that it had a video game as well. And after checking it out, I was ecstatic to hear its gameplay was styled after the Ace Attorney games (one of my favorite series). The game itself is pretty much identical to the Ace Attorney games. You cross-examine witnesses, talk to suspects, and go around looking for clues in order to solve different cases..
Summary: I'm not sure why but my boyfriend and I had a really hard time solving the first case. You have to click things in a very specific order for the game to realize you understand what the case clues mean. Overall the game is pretty funny but it is frustratingly difficult to figure out what to click when.
Summary: I'm a big fan of Birdman, I had to have this game. I haven't played it throughout yet, but I have played for about 4 hours. It is fun to me and I would recommend to buy this for the adult swim fan in your household. Don't buy for younger players. Price was too to pass as it cost about the same as it would to rent it for 1 night.
Summary: My two older teens enjoyed this game, but quickly admitted it was more fun than really challenging. There are just 5 cases, as advertised, and you can solve each case in about 30 minutes. They had fun while it lasted, but wished there were more cases. They will play it again for the bonus content which includes hilarious out takes.
Summary: This game is a subset of a niche market. The number of people being both a fan of the Adult Swim cartoon, and a fan of the Phoenix Wright games must be small, yet a developer had the guts to make a game for them anyway. And they did a good job too. The game is enjoyable and full of all the humour that is to be expected from the series. The animation is spot on as is the casting. Where it does fail though, is in it's length.
Summary: I bought this game when it was in the bargains section for less than $10 (IIRC). I simply bought it because I'm a fan of harvey birdman and I thought it would be a cool game to have on my shelf. I was actually somewhat pleasantly suprised when I played it, I was expecting a complete bucket of rubbish, but the game is actually playable and I did get quite a few laughs out of it. Definately not a must have title, but for harvey birdman fans its not bad.
