Summary: I enjoyed this game. Didn't finish it through. It is hard to completely understand the instructions at first and know what you are supposed to do. Takes a long time to understand the layout and the map. Making any progress in the game takes a long time. If you have a lot of time to devote to a video game I think you would enjoy it.
Summary: Love the game! However, it has a glitch that locks up the game on level ten in the mine. It does not allow you to progress. You start to hear a clue about fruit of the tree from Calvin, then the system freezes. My sister also has this game and the same thing happens on hers, so it isnt just a defect on my disc. Your only option is to power cycle the Wii. If you had not saved recently your progress is lost. And there is a story line that is unaccessible.
Summary: I love the Harvest Moon games and managed to get this one from Best Buy today. After playing it for a few hours I'm starting to lose interest in it, which has never happened with the other ones. The character loses energy way too fast and it's hard to find things laying around that can boast the energy level. After planting 2 rows and watering them you are basically done for the day. You also have to keep up with the weeds, which uses up energy quick.
Summary: This game has some different features that make the game interesting and if you've played most of the Harvest Moon titles it's something different from past games. Unfortunately it also lacks the classic feel of the Harvest moon titles from starting off with your classic pet dog, to the art change and camera angles (which can be confusing at times).
Summary: Yep, it's a daunting task to run a farm. And if you think it will get easier later on like in other Harvest Moon series, you are wrong. Because you can buy more land in ToT ( Tree of Tranq ) you will have to work harder as well... One time I went asleep very late just to wake up with a drowsiness that slows you down. But I just couldn't manage so many farms (lands ) and animals that needs to be brushed every day and milked etc.
Summary: I was quite disappointed with this game, even though I am a big fan of harvest moon. Although there are many of the elements that make the games so addictive in Tree of Tranquility, for me it is far less playable than others. It is far less charming overall than just about any other harvest moon game. I found the art style and especially the character design a bit soulless and odd, and the graphics just aren't very good.
