Summary: I've loved the Harvest Moon series since I was introduced to Magical Melody last year. I checked my mail box avidly for nearly two weeks waiting for this game to ship to me. I'm sorry to say that I'm incredibly disappointed. The game meets the standard of the previous titles--but that's about it. Of the titles I've played, I'd say it's a hybrid of Wonderful Life's slightly more realistic graphics and Magical Melody's enjoyably easy difficulty level.
Summary: Yep, it's a daunting task to run a farm. And if you think it will get easier later on like in other Harvest Moon series, you are wrong. Because you can buy more land in ToT ( Tree of Tranq ) you will have to work harder as well... One time I went asleep very late just to wake up with a drowsiness that slows you down. But I just couldn't manage so many farms (lands ) and animals that needs to be brushed every day and milked etc.
Summary: I was quite disappointed with this game, even though I am a big fan of harvest moon. Although there are many of the elements that make the games so addictive in Tree of Tranquility, for me it is far less playable than others. It is far less charming overall than just about any other harvest moon game. I found the art style and especially the character design a bit soulless and odd, and the graphics just aren't very good.
