Worst game

Xboxhp , GameStop
2 June 2013
  • Summary: I have no clue how this game got so much praise. This game is torture! If you're going to waste your money on this game. Get this half blood prince! It's just horrible! The graphics suck, the gameplay is boring, the controls are the worst of all time, and the game is short.

  • Summary: I ordered this game and couldn't wait to play it but was severely disappointed with this game. The first few levels are quite good but then the game starts to get repetitive and very boring. Don't buy it. Seriously.

Waste of money

  • Summary: Having played HP Order of the Phoenix on Wii, I thought that this would try to be better or at least in a similar league. Graphics - terrible (I know the Wii wasn't built for graphic as much as other next-gen consoles but still) Gameplay - always fighting with the camera and siting behind Harry's right shoulder (so he and any other character gets in the way) And to this, I have not played past the wedding (the second mission).

  • Summary: Thought I had found a bargain; until I started playing. This game is a big dissapointment and I would not recomend it. I certainly won't be buying the second part. I found the control for looking around and directing Harry hard to control, even after a few hours game play. You often find yourself looking at the ground or sky. Particularly annoying when you are in the middle of a fight, or an enemy is behind you attacking you and you can't turn around!

Guttingly disappointing!

  • Summary: I really really loved the Wii incarnation of The Order of the Phoenix, finally the Wii was showing us what it could do, free roaming and choosing what to do when, along with all the mini-games made it an excellent game to play. The Half Blood Prince followed and although not living up to its predecessor was entertaining enough...and now finally I get to the point.

Real anti-climax :(

  • Summary: I pre-ordered this game to add to the excitment of re-reading the book and seeing the film. I waited until i had finished both before starting the game - and I was extremely dissapointed. The game follows little of the plot of the book/film and is extremely repetetive - the levels that i did play consisted of aiming and pressing 'B' constantly to stun death eaters or snatchers. Not very interesting.

  • Summary: The control mechanics do not work very well. The camera does not work very well. The First Person parts are terrible. Please EA remedy this before Pt 2 ! Half-Blood Prince was pretty good but this is such a big disappointment...at least the film was good.

Harry Potter and the Worst Game Ever

Sam Aldridge, amazon.co.uk
20 November 2010
  • Summary: As an avid Harry Potter fan, I have enjoyed all the other video games produced, they have been reasonably simple and quite straight forward, however the Deathly Hallows video game is totally different. For me the biggest disappointment of the game is Harry is basically running round killing death eaters & snatchers, which totally contradicts what JK was trying to emphasis in her books, throughout the seven books Harry refused to cause harm to anyone and definitely would...
